Raksharab Rabies Vaccine for Dogs

Description

Raksharab vaccine is recommended to immunise dogs and other domestic animals against rabies. It contains inactivated rabies virus with a potency > 1.0 I.U. perdose. It is effective for both prophylactic and post-exposure treatment against rabies in Dogs.

Composition:

contains tissue culture Rabies virus produced in BHK21 cell line, inactivated with aziridine compound.

Rabies Vaccination Schedule for Puppies:

1st Dose – At the age of 3 months
Booster Dose – After 1 month of 1st dose
Re-Vaccination – Annually

Post Exposure treatment:

First Dose – Day 0
Subsequent doses – 3rd, 7th, 14th and 28th days

Dosage:

1 ml S/C or I/M route
