MSD Butalex Injection 20 ml

Description

MSD Butalex injection contains buparvaquone for veterinary use. It is used for treating Theileriosis in cattle caused by strains of Theileria parva parva, T. parva bovis, T. parva lawrencei, T. annulata, T. mutans and T. orientalis.

Composition:

Each 1 ml contains 50 mg buparvaquone

Indications/uses

Effective treatment for theileriosis (East Coast fever, Corridor Disease, tropical theileriosis etc.)

Dosage & Directions for Use

Administer 1 ml per 20 kg body weight by intramuscular route in the deep neck muscle. If exceeds 10 ml, the dose should divided and administered into different sites.
Generally, one dose is sufficient for the treatment. In heavy cases, a
second treatment (at the same dose) may be required 48-72 hours after the first dosing.
